Technical Assistance

Technical Assistance

ACCG provides technical assistance to local governments through interaction with ACCG staff policy area experts, a government field representative program and special liaison positions for key issues.  A renewed focus on the government field representative program gives county officials even better access to ACCG’s resources.

ACCG also is committed to supporting other liaison positions and focusing association resources on current issues as needed.  ACCG has established one of the first liaison positions in the nation between a county association and Cooperative Extension.  The partnership is used to help county officials better understand and access University of Georgia Extension resources and engages the vast network of Extension professionals to reach Georgia citizens more effectively.
