| | Kathleen Bowen External Relations Director Tel: (404) 522-5022 ACCG Kathleen Bowen 50 Hurt Plaza, Suite 1000 Atlanta, GA 30303 | Scan with your smartphone to download contact information. | Kathleen is the External Relations Director for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG). She serves as program director for the Georgia Civic Awareness Program for Students (GCAPS) and manager of the County Buyers Mart, an exhibit show held in conjunction with the ACCG Annual Meeting. Kathleen is also responsible for ACCG’s Partner Program and sponsorship outreach. She previously held the position of Deputy Director of Executive Appointments and Intergovernmental Affairs Liaison in the Office of Governor Sonny Perdue. Before joining the Governor’s staff she was a scheduler and legislative correspondent for Congressman Terry Everett (AL-2) in his Washington, D.C. office. Kathleen serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Family Connection Partnership, member of the Atlanta Ole Miss Alumni Club and a volunteer with Everybody Wins. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Mississippi. | |
