July ACCG SPLOST Training Sessions

Counties that are preparing a SPLOST referendum this November or next year during the presidential preference primary should plan to attend one of the upcoming ACCG SPLOST training sessions.  Due to the infrequent nature of SPLOST referendums and ongoing changes to the SPLOST law, continuing education on SPLOST is important.  The sessions will be offered:

Tuesday, July 12

10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Forsyth County Administration Building

Commissioners Meeting Room, Suite 220

110 East Main Street

Cumming, Georgia  30040

Thursday, July 14

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Turner County Civic Center

354 Lamar Street

Ashburn, Georgia  31714

During the training, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn from the experiences of other participating counties.  New changes to the SPLOST law passed this year by the General Assembly also will be discussed.
