Guidance to Local Governments on Reporting for Federal Stimulus Projects (4/21/2009)

 

First Georgia Stimulus Projects to be Let in May (4/17/2009) - See this press release from the State Board of Transporation announcing 49 projects totaling $111 million will be let (prospective contractors’ bids accepted and opened) on May 22. Bid awards to contractors should occur some two weeks later and actual construction begin in July.  The press release includes a list of the projects.

 

Governor Perdue Certifies $207 Million in Stimulus Road Projects (4/9/2009)

 Governor Sonny Perdue announced that he has submitted the required “1511 Certification” on 67 road projects around the state that will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
