The Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) along with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government and the Department of Community Affairs worked together over the past year to produce population projections for Georgia through 2030. After receiving much feedback over the summer on the initial set of projections that were released, steps were taken to address some of these concerns. It is important to keep in mind that these numbers will be adjusted after the census numbers have been ratified and will be revisited in the future on a regular basis so that if the growth of your county is not in line with the projections given today that there will be plenty of opportunities in the future to make adjustments.
