| Extension: New Model for Program Delivery |
Over the past two years, the University of Georgia (UGA) Cooperative Extension has lost 23 percent of its state funding. As a result, UGA has taken an in-depth review of the programs and services delivered through Cooperative Extension in order to develop a plan for the future. Based on this analysis, a new delivery model has emerged based on tiers of service, meaning services in a county will depend on the needs and available funding in that county.
