Charged to protect and enhance the existing county revenue base.  Local sales and use taxes, property taxes and user fees all fall under the committee's jurisdiction. The committee advocates policies on behalf of local taxpayers to ensure that revenue and budget decisions made at the state level do not negatively impact county finances and their ability to carry out both state-mandated and discretionary services.  ACCG
