Over three hundred state and local officials attended the 2008 Property Tax Conference.  This conference offered an opportunity to learn more about the property tax system in Georgia and about assessment limitations and levy caps.  Speakers from several other states presented their experiences with property tax reform.  Property tax experts also discussed policies for reducing or controlling property taxes.
