This committee deals with issues involving the structure of county government and all matters dealing with intergovernmental relations between counties and county officers and the federal, state and municipal governments. The committee also examines issues related to elections, recall, ethics and the integrity of home rule, service delivery, regional and local growth policies including planning and zoning and relations with constitutional officers and the courts. Additionally, this committee studies issues related to county personnel practices and employee relations as well as other general topics which confront county governments but are not specifically reviewed by the other standing policy committees.
