Jim Grubiak, ACCG General Counsel "Since 1982, I have had the pleasure of serving as General Counsel for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia. One of the benefits of serving in this capacity is working with county attorneys across the state. Today’s county attorney is expected to have working knowledge of a larger number of issues than ever before. To this end, ACCG has designed a webpage to provide resources and tools that county attorneys can utilize in their day-to-day responsibilities." ACCG Legal Staff ACCG has four attorneys on staff to assist in the legal work for the association. Led by General Counsel, Jim Grubiak, the legal staff serves as a reference for county attorneys throughout Georgia. The legal staff also provides guidebooks, model ordinances and resolutions, training materials and analysis of legislation. While the staff does provide legal resources to counties they do not provide legal advice or counsel to county commissioners and staff, nor do they represent counties in legal matters.
