2020 Georgia County Excellence Awards to Honor County Innovation

ACCG, in partnership with Georgia Trend magazine, will once again host the Georgia County Excellence Awards program. ACCG and Georgia Trend, the state’s leading business publication, are partnering to honor counties that have taken innovative and cost-effective approaches to solving local issues. The Georgia County Excellence Awards will recognize county commissioners, staff, and community partners for their efforts to make positive impacts on their communities.

The theme of the 2020 Georgia County Excellence Awards is Innovation as this year’s awards will honor county programs and initiatives in the areas of health care, infrastructure and transportation, public safety, sustainability, and technology. Two counties, one rural and one non-rural county, will be recognized in each of the five categories.
