ACCG has drafted a memo that outlines the process that will be used to consider and approve the 2021 Policy Agenda.  There are several opportunities for county officials to provide input along the way.  Please familiarize yourself with this schedule and watch for reminders from ACCG on when and how you can provide important feedback.


2021 Legislative Recommendations Meeting & Information

The ACCG Policy Council has finalized the proposed 2021 policy objectives, guiding principles and has established a list of potential legislative priorites.  Please review the recommendations in the attached documents.  If you have any amendments for the ACCG membership to consider, please fill out the attached amendment form and submit it to ACCG Legislative Director Clint Mueller, at cmueller@accg.org no later than September 18, 2020.

Designating Your County Voting Delegate

The most immediate need is for your county to designate a voting delegate.  Each county may designate one person for this role, and if no designee is identified, the chairman, sole commissioner, chief executive officer or mayor becomes the county’s voting delegate.  Voting delegates will cast the final vote on behalf of the county through a virtual process between Sept. 24 – Oct. 1.   ACCG asks that you complete and return the voting delegate form by Sept. 22 so that voting credentials may be distributed in a timely manner.
