Policy Committee Issues Survey

Your Input Is Needed!

As one Session of the Georgia General Assembly ends, the preparation for the next Session begins. ACCG is now in policy development mode and needs your input!

We would like to get an idea of what issues your county is facing that need state or federal assistance, a change to state or federal law, or a modification to state or federal agency rules and regulations.

Our seven policy committees will begin looking at policy issues in May and will spend the summer months conducting research and forming subcommittees if needed. In August and/or September, the policy committees will meet to discuss the issues and recommend policy objectives for the 2022 Georgia General Assembly Session as well as for Congress and federal and state agencies.

Our policy staff greatly relies on your expertise and ideas to formulate the Association’s positions and appreciates you taking the time to complete the survey. We look forward to your engagement in policy development and will be in touch soon with the policy committee meeting schedule.
