SECTION 319(h) IMPLEMENTATION GRANTS – County governments and water authorities are among the eligible participants in the competition for U.S. EPA Clean Water Act Implementation grant funds. Cooperative Extension personnel have demonstrated expertise in advising governmental groups in their application for these funds. Information is not currently available for FY2009 funding, but taking a look at the links below (respective to FY2008 funding) can be helpful to counties deciding whether or not to apply, or to counties getting ready to apply. An early start (and early consultation with experts) is often the key to successful proposals.
