County internships are open to undergraduate freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates of any college, university, or technical college.
Students must commit to work a minimum number of hours per week as established by the intern supervisor. Students may apply through their university or directly to the county.
In order to receive academic credit for internships, students must consult with their advisors or career centers to ascertain how many credit hours are available through their academic program. Each program has different criteria so it is very important that students are aware of their program requirements.
Please visit the homepage for a list of participating counties. In addition to completing the internship application, students will need to provide a resume and two professional references (academic or employment related).
