ACCG Insurance Schedule of Benefits

The ACCG – Interlocal Risk Management Agency (ACCG-IRMA) is the Named Insured on two Hartford policies that provide the required benefits for participating members:

1) Lump Sum Cancer

2) Long-Term Disability (Income Replacement)

The ACCG-IRMA members are provided coverage under these two group policies, and the evidence of coverage is the customized Schedule of Benefits provided to each member county. (A few members have their own Long-Term Disability coverage that meets the requirements of House Bill 146 and do not need to purchase it from the ACCG program.) If another copy of the county’s Schedule of Benefits is needed, please email gfcp@lockton.com.

When a firefighter no longer provides firefighting services for the county or any other legally organized fire department in Georgia, they have the option to continue or convert coverage within 30 days of leaving the fire service, as is required by law, and pay the premium directly to The Hartford.
