Registration Now Open: Summer Policy Committee Meetings

Registration for the final round of policy committee meetings is still open. All six policy committees will meet over two days in Forsyth County. County officials can attend all six policy meetings or just the ones where they have an interest. Attending a meeting is a great opportunity to make sure your voice is heard on key issues.

Click here for a special message from ACCG President and Baldwin County Commissioner Henry Craig to learn more about the importance of these meetings.

What happens at these meetings?
  • Hear presentations from subject matter experts on key issues that are expected to be debated at the General Assembly next year.
  • Discuss new issues of concern to counties that require changes to state or federal laws and regulations, state or federal financial support, or state or federal administrative support.
  • Identify and vote on policy platform changes and recommended policy objectives or ACCG's Policy Council to consider for the proposed 2024 ACCG Policy Agenda.
Actions taken by the Georgia General Assembly have a real and direct impact on your county, so your identification of and feedback on these issues is critical to the process. Make sure your county is represented at these meetings! Click the link below to register.
