Blue-Ribbon Study Committee Presentation

The Blue-Ribbon Study Committee delivered a presentation on Sept. 23, 2026 on sales tax collection and distribution. This presentation allowed the Committee to evaluate Georgia’s local funding mechanisms and work to strengthen transparency, ensure fairness for taxpayers, and increase fiscal accountability for local governments.
