The Energy Policy and Innovation Center at Georgia Tech created the Georgia Data Center Ordinance Hub to help the state's communities navigate potential data center development in their region. It provides a structured, side-by-side view of land-use ordinances related to data centers across Georgia jurisdictions. Click here to access the hub.

ACCG hosted a hot topic session titled Data Centers, Your Community, and You: County Ordinances during the 2026 Annual Conference in Chatham County. During the session, panelists provided information to help equip county officials with a clear, actionable framework for developing ordinances that address the rapid growth of data processing centers.
