ACCG is the official voice for Georgia’s counties under the gold dome. ACCG’s lobbying team, made up of the association’s policy staff members, monitors and pursues legislation of significance to counties while the state legislature is in session. In addition to pursuing items on the Legislative Agenda and those within the County Platform, ACCG policy staff members garner the input of Georgia’s county officials on legislation that arises during the session that will have an impact on county governments.
